Common questions

What CMS platforms do you maintain?
We primarily maintain WordPress and WooCommerce sites, which account for the vast majority of our client base. We also maintain sites built on Shopify, Webflow, and custom Astro or Next.js builds — contact us to discuss your specific setup.
What happens if my site gets hacked?
On Standard and Premium plans, malware removal is included at no extra cost. We isolate the compromised installation, remove the malicious code, patch the entry point, restore from a clean backup if necessary, and harden the site against repeat attacks. On the Basic plan, emergency clean-up is billed at our standard hourly rate.
Do you need access to my hosting account?
Yes — we need SFTP/SSH access, database credentials, and WordPress admin access. We store all credentials in an encrypted vault and our team accesses them only when performing maintenance. We can also work within your existing hosting control panel without requiring root access.
Can I cancel at any time?
All plans are month-to-month with 30 days notice required to cancel. There are no long-term contracts. If you upgrade or downgrade your plan, the change takes effect at the start of the next billing cycle.
What counts as a "content edit"?
Any change you could describe in a sentence: update a price, swap an image, add a staff bio, fix a typo, change a phone number, add a new item to a list. Changes requiring design work or new page layouts fall outside the edit allowance and are quoted separately.
My site was built by another agency — can you take it over?
Yes. We start every new maintenance client with a full site audit covering security, performance, plugin health, and backup status. If we find issues, we'll flag them and quote to resolve them before bringing the site onto a maintenance plan.
